00XDC Innovation Labs — Hackathon Pitch Brief

The agentic layer for XDC.

Ship one market-ready product. Deploy the protocol beneath it. Show the expansion on one slide.

XDC's agentic layer — built in 12 hours, designed to ship.

12 HOURS 5 PEOPLE HACKATHON PROTOCOL + PRODUCT
02The stack

+ 2 + 2 — a foundation, two flagships, two infra plays.

Every product sits on the same primitives: an ERC-8004 agent settling on XDC, an ERC-721 wherever ownership matters. One stack, five expressions.

Foundation

Agent Trust Layer + ownership primitives on XDC

ERC-8004 registries + x402 settlement + ERC-721 identity/assets. The moat under everything.

Flagships · Consumer

Smart AI Explorer + AI Game Studio

Two viral front doors. One pays back fastest (text the blockchain). One has the strongest social loop (chat-to-game, mint-to-own).

Smart AI Explorer · ai.xdcscan.io
AI Game Studio · Playabl-style on XDC
Infra · Roadmap

SmartAI Cloud + DICOMPUTE

The expansion path the same rails unlock — pay-per-second cloud over Telegram, then verifiable training receipts on-chain.

SmartAI Cloud · gocloudx.com
DICOMPUTE · verifiable training

Unifying thread — every product is an ERC-8004 agent settling on XDC; everything needing ownership or provenance uses ERC-721 — the same primitive as the Identity registry.

03Product 1 · Foundation

The trust layer everything stands on.

01

Agent Trust Layer · ERC-8004 native to XDC

First non-Ethereum deployment
Foundation

ERC-8004 is the agent-economy trust standard — three registries (Identity as an ERC-721 "passport," Reputation, Validation) that let autonomous agents discover, vet, and transact without pre-existing trust. It went live on Ethereum mainnet on 29 Jan 2026 with 45,000+ agents registered; payments are out of scope by design, with x402 as the settlement rail; the Ethereum Foundation's dAI team has it on the 2026 roadmap. It only lives on Ethereum today. Porting the open reference contracts (erc-8004/erc-8004-contracts) to XDC makes XDC the first non-Ethereum chain with a native agent trust layer.

12-hour build Registries on Apothem + an x402-style escrow + 2–3 agents running discover → rank → pay → deliver → rate, on a live dashboard where every step links to a real Apothem tx.
Who pays Infrastructure, not a paid app. Ecosystem-funded public good: drives XDC transaction volume and gives validators a new agent validation revenue role.
GTM Developer- and ecosystem-led. Narrative: "XDC is the settlement layer for the agent economy." Open-source contracts + SDK, list in the ERC-8004 ecosystem directory.
Social "First ERC-8004 deployment outside Ethereum" — a real PR hook. Technical X threads riding the agent-economy wave, a dev writeup, a 90-second loop-demo clip.
04Product 2 · Flagship

The block explorer you can text.

02

Smart AI Explorer · ai.xdcscan.io

The market-ready SaaS — and the first registered agent on the trust layer
Flagship

A natural-language, multi-channel layer over XDC chain data — ask in Telegram / X / Slack / WhatsApp ("show failed contract deploys by 0x… last week") and get an answer, plus alerts and monitoring. Built on the existing OpenScan / Blockscout indexing head start. The bot registers itself as an ERC-8004 agent, folding it into the trust layer.

12-hour build The agentic multi-channel bot layer over the existing explorer API; register the bot on the trust layer.
Who pays Freemium SaaS — "text the blockchain." Free queries; paid alerts/webhooks/portfolio; enterprise for compliance/whale-watching/node monitoring.
GTM Distribution-led — meet users in Telegram/WhatsApp, not a website. Seed in the warm XDC community, broaden multi-chain. WhatsApp-first for India.
Social The most marketable of the five. Short-form query in → answer out, bilingual Hindi/Marathi/English, KOL partnerships, build-in-public.
05Product 3 · Flagship

Chat-to-game. Mint-to-own.

03

AI Game Studio on XDC · Playabl-style

The viral consumer bet
Flagship

Chat-to-game creation in the spirit of Playabl — describe a game, AI builds a playable web game, publish a shareable link. The XDC layer adds ownership and payments: every generated game and its assets mint as ERC-721 NFTs (provenance, ownership, tradability), and creation/play settles via ERC-8004 + x402. The game-generator is itself a registered agent.

12-hour build Minimal chat → playable-game generator. On publish, mint an NFT on Apothem capturing the game's metadata/hash + creator, with a pay-to-mint step. Show ownership + payment on-chain.
Who pays Creators (mint/publish fees), players (unlocks/premium), marketplace take on secondary NFT trades — a UGC game economy.
GTM Creator-led and viral. "Make a game by chatting — own it as an NFT." Shareable links are the growth loop. India + global Gen-Z creators.
Social The most consumer-viral of the five: clips of "typed a sentence → playable game → minted on XDC." TikTok / Reels / Shorts native.
06Product 4 · Infra

Cloud you can pay for in UPI.

04

SmartAI Cloud · gocloudx.com

ChatOps over VM provisioning
Infra · Roadmap

A ChatOps layer over GoCloudX's VM provisioning ("spin up a 4-vCPU box in Mumbai" via Telegram), with on-chain pay-per-second metered billing in XDC / stablecoin / UPI.

12-hour build Bot over the GoCloudX API + the crypto/UPI metered-billing rail. Feasibility hinges on the API — spike it in hour 1.
Who pays Indie devs, web3 startups, crypto-native teams, cost-sensitive emerging-market developers underserved by hyperscalers. UPI removes card-on-file friction that blocks Indian devs.
GTM Product-led with free credits, chat onboarding. Lead with "cloud you can pay for in UPI or crypto." Compete on payment access and UX, not price.
Social "Deploy a server by sending a Telegram message." Indie-hacker + build-in-public + Hindi dev YouTube. Foreground the on-chain billing for the web3 angle.
07Product 5 · Infra

The verifiability layer DePIN doesn't have.

05

DICOMPUTE · verifiable training cloud

The long-game DePIN play
Infra · Long game

Decentralized GPU compute for training/inference with on-chain proof-of-training receipts settled on XDC — Akash-style economics (Akash offers 60–85% savings vs hyperscalers via reverse-auction GPU leasing on Cosmos SDK, and is pushing into hyperscale training via Starcluster, a $75M Starbonds raise for ~7,200 NVIDIA GB200 GPUs) but with a verifiability layer the marketplaces lack.

12-hour build Vertical slice only: job submission → decentralized compute → an on-chain proof-of-training receipt on XDC. Full marketplace is multi-quarter.
Who pays AI startups priced out of hyperscalers, grant-funded researchers (provenance + accountability), and provenance-conscious enterprises.
GTM Hardest — a DePIN cold-start. Enter through the verifiable-receipt niche, not the open marketplace. Partner for initial GPU supply.
Social Highest narrative ceiling, slowest payoff. "Verifiable AI training on-chain" — research Twitter, AI/ML + DePIN. Thought-leadership, not acquisition.
08The play

One product shipped. The protocol underneath. The expansion on one slide.

Lead with the Explorer as the proven SaaS and the Game Studio as the viral consumer bet, both standing on the trust layer as the moat.

Demo the Explorer + the on-chain agent loop as the hero; present the Game Studio, Cloud, and DICOMPUTE as the expansion the same rails unlock.

The arc: ship a market-ready product, stand up the protocol beneath it, and show the five-product path on one roadmap slide — a marketable consumer product riding a fresh protocol narrative, where the Explorer is the first registered agent on the trust layer you just deployed.

09Demo script

Three minutes. Judge-facing.

0:00
Hook. "Etherscan can't do this." Open WhatsApp.
0:20
Flagship. Type "show failed contract deploys by 0x… last week" → instant answer.
0:50
Reveal. "This bot is itself an autonomous agent." Cut to the dashboard.
1:10
The loop. A client agent needs data → discovers two agents via the Identity registry → ranks by Reputation → pays 0.5 XDC into escrow → the explorer agent returns live data → escrow releases → client posts 5★ → reputation ticks up live, every step a clickable Apothem tx.
2:20
Roadmap. Same registry powers the Game Studio (mint-to-own), the Cloud bot, and training jobs.
2:40
The ask.
1012-hour timeline

11Team — 5 roles

Each role owns one critical path.

01

Contracts

ERC-8004 registries + escrow on Apothem; verify on explorer; ship addresses by hour 3.

02

Agent runtime

Discover → rank → pay → deliver → rate loop; logic deterministic, LLM only for the NL front.

03

Service + integration

Wire ai.xdcscan.io as a service agent; build a second contrast agent; bot channels.

04

Frontend

Live dashboard + landing page (single-file, polished).

05

Pitch & GTM

Deck, demo video, landing copy, social assets, run-of-show. The edge in a market-ready-judged hackathon.

12Distribution moat

The India edge — four advantages stacked.

01

WhatsApp-native

Where global crypto tools aren't. Distribution rail to ~600M Indian users.

02

UPI billing

Removes the card-on-file friction that blocks Indian developers from AWS / DO.

03

Bilingual content

Hindi / Marathi / English short-form content for Tier-2/3 reach.

04

Warm start

XDC's home ecosystem — community already primed for the launch.

13Social & launch + KPIs

Channel order. Metrics that compound.

Launch sequence

  1. Pre. Tease build-in-public on X.
  2. Launch. "First ERC-8004 on XDC" PR via GlobeNewsLive + crypto press, a 90-second demo video, an X technical thread, a WhatsApp-channel broadcast.
  3. Post. The Game Studio loop video, India creator KOL drops, developer writeup.

Channels

  • X — dev + crypto-AI threads.
  • Telegram — XDC community + crypto groups.
  • WhatsApp — India consumer broadcasts.
  • LinkedIn — enterprise / compliance angle.
  • YouTube Shorts / Reels — query + game clips, bilingual.

14Risks & fallback

What can go wrong. What we do about it.

  • Risk · 01
Explorer API access. Spike in hour 1; fallback to two mock service agents that still demo the full ERC-8004 loop.
  • Risk · 02
Live chain on stage. Record the fallback video at hour 10. Two takes minimum.
  • Risk · 03
Scope creep. The cut-list is law. Game Studio downgrades to a single mintable game if needed. Cloud + DICOMPUTE are roadmap-only slides at the lower bound.
15The close

One product shipped. The protocol stood up beneath it. A five-product expansion on a single slide.

The ask — grant, pilot, or ecosystem support to take the deployed agent trust layer and the first registered consumer agent from hackathon demo to mainnet launch.
